Situated in the Lake District, Cumbria, our holiday cottages are an ideal base from which to explore - whether you’re taking a quiet break from in the country or having an all action holiday on the Lakes. All of our cottages are decorated beautifully with a warm, welcoming feel and each feature a wood burning stove or log fire in addition to full central heating. We can also accommodate well behaved dogs or other pets for a small fee. The cottages overlook Duddon Estuary on beautiful, unspoilt landscape close to the market towns of Broughton-in-Furness and Ulverston. If you would like to experience the famous lakes for yourself, Windermere is a 25 minute drive away and Coniston only 10. Meanwhile, for those into history, the remains of Bronze Age stone hut circles lay just three miles away – and birdwatchers may enjoy a nearby tarn where seagulls nest in spring. Each cottage is fully equipped featuring: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, full central heating, fridge, freezer, electric fan-assisted oven and microwave. Also covered by the rental price are heating and electricity, bed linen and towels. All cottages also feature a barbeque, plenty of parking spaces and a private garden – as well as Wi-fi internet connection. Upon arrival at your cottage you will find the heating is already on, fires laid and beds made; ensuring you are cosy and have sufficient hot water. We can accommodate any sized of group or family. Large groups of anywhere between 10 and 17 should be comfortable in Beckstones Farmhouse, while Keepers cottage is ideal for couples. Additionally, all cottages may be booked together with a maximum capacity of 45.
